Moving is seriously no joke. In two days of moving, I walked over 32 miles packing and hauling boxes out of our old house and into our new modern farmhouse. (Thanks to my Fit Bit for keeping track of my moving marathon mileage). But we did it, and we survived our move.
We literally moved within walking distance of our old house so we ended up walking back and forth between houses a lot. To say I’m exhausted is an understatement.
There are literally boxes 📦 E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E and I can’t even find basic items like my hair brush or cell phone charger. But that’s ok because we made it! We made it out of our old house just in time for our buyers to take possession and we are now able to start settling into our lovely farmhouse.
I am excited to soon share lots of photos with all of you. I’ve also been taking notes along the way of lessons learned and building tips. I will soon be sharing these with you on the blog. Here’s a photo I snapped on my cell phone as I was bringing our last load of plants by wheelbarrow to the new house. The sun was setting and the calmness of the other night was so relaxing.
For now I’m off to unpack some more moving boxes and I’m hoping to find my hairbrush 😂. The sun is shining and it’s a beautiful day. Comment below and share any unpacking tips you might have for me. Happy Sunday!
