Farmhouse Thanksgiving Tablescape

I didn’t have a lot of time to plan our Thanksgiving tablescape this year as we just recently moved into our home. My goal this year is to keep our Thanksgiving decor simple. At the same time, I plan to incorporate as many of my current home decorations as possible.

Here’s how I set-up our Thanksgiving Table:

Center Piece For The Tablescape

First, I focused on the center piece for the table. I have a beautiful gold candle holder from HomeGoods that I decided to make as the focal point of our table. It’s important to me that the centerpiece is not too high so that it does not interfere with guests talking across the table.

I felt like I needed some sort of greenery to tie in the centerpiece to my table so I found a faux eucalyptus garland on Amazon. My preference is always fresh florals, but due to time constraints, I decided to go with a faux garland this year.

Gold Candles To Illuminate The Table

After purchasing the garland, I realized that I needed something to fill in around the center candle and eucalyptus. I found these darling gold votive candle holders (also on Amazon) that fit perfectly tucked into the garland.

Gold Chargers Under Plates

I also love the look of chargers under a plate. It gives such a more inviting feel to the table. Unfortunately I only had silver chargers, but I did have gold spray paint laying around the house! I used the gold spray paint to turn my once silver chargers gold. I don’t recommend this route as the gold paint did not stick too well to the chargers. (Just this past week the Dollar Store had gold chargers for sale.)

Harvest Pumpkins For Table Decor

Thanks to Halloween, I had a bunch of tiny little pumpkins sitting around the house. I took these pumpkins and placed them on the center of everyone’s place setting. They would also look adorable mixed in with the greenery and candles.

Finally it was time to finish setting the table. I used some cute “Thankful” napkins I found at HomeGoods and then I put our silverware, white plates, and wine glasses on the table. Our wine glasses are the Oregon Wine Glasses from Crate&Barrel and I just love their long stems.

Ready For Thanksgiving
