Life has certainly changed a lot in the last few weeks around the world. Many of us working moms are suddenly finding ourselves needing to homeschool and entertain our children. Have you also found yourself needing to entertain your children throughout the day? If so, here’s a list of 20 stay at-home activities to keep your young kids busy throughout the day.

A friend who’s a teacher also reminded me that young children have very short attention spans. In the early years, they say the attention span is equivalent to their age. I have a five year old and usually I can keep her occupied with the same project or game for at least 15 to 20 minutes. This means we are constantly changing things up and moving from one activity to the next. And remember, you need a break too! Letting your kids have some time for independent play is just fine too!

Are there any activities that I’ve left off this list that you think I should add? If so, please comment below and leave your suggestions. If this list of stay at-home activities is helpful, please share it with a friend.

Stay safe and stay well!
