Does it feel like you have very little time for self care right now? Life has certainly changed a lot in the last few weeks around the world due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many of us working moms are suddenly finding ourselves needing to homeschool and entertain our children while still maintaining our job at home. It may feel like thereâs little time for just yourself right now. However, itâs important to also take care of your wellbeing during this uncertain time.

Here are a few simple ideas for self care during social isolation:
- Take A Deep BreathÂ
- Take a nap
- Meditate
- Listen to music
- Practice Yoga
- Turn on your essential oilsÂ
- Get outside: Go for a walk/run/bike
- Exercise (click for some free online workouts)
- Read a book
- Listen to an audio book
- Take a bath
- Garden
- Bake your favorite recipe
- Write a letter to yourself
- Journal
- Send a letter to your friend/family/neighbor
- Call a friend/family member
We are all human and we are all in this together. This is a highly emotional time right now. I know I broke down and cried in the shower the other morning. Then I decided it was time to get outside and work in the garden. This is my place that soothes my soul. As I sowed seeds I reminded myself that soon there will be beautiful flowers blooming and life will move on. Sometimes we all need a little pick-me-up.
