A DIY BATHROOM SHIPLAP ACCENT WALL
How A Shiplap Accent Wall Transformed Our Master Bathroom
Has the modern farmhouse movement inspired you to redecorate or redesign rooms in your home? I know that I certainly have been inspired by the farmhouse style. Thanks to Joanna Gaines and the farmhouse movement, many people have been motivated to add a shiplap accent wall (or two) to their home! Shiplap is a timeless look that can really transform a space.
About two years ago we built a modern farmhouse and since then we have been slowly transforming our house into a home. While building our house we installed shiplap in our laundry room and we also shiplapped our fireplace. I really wanted to add more shiplap throughout the house, but unfortunately it wasn’t in our budget.

Master Bathroom Update
I’ve been wanting to update our master bathroom for a while now. After looking at farmhouse inspiration online, I decided that an accent wall would really transform the look of our bathroom. To achieve the farmhouse look, we decided to add shiplap to the back wall by our tub.
We teamed up with UFP-Edge to install their pre-painted Timeless Nickel Gap Shiplap in our bathroom for this accent wall. (We chose Farmhouse White shiplap.) I am so impressed with how easy it was to install a DIY shiplap accent wall in our bathroom.
