Dahlia Tuber Orders

The Flowering Farmhouse is a small flower farm located in Hood River, Oregon. We specialize in growing dahlias and other speciality flowers. Our dahlia tubers are available for sale in the winter and will ship in the spring. To the best of our knowledge, our tubers are true to name and disease free. We guarantee all tubers to have at least one visible eye upon shipping. We are licensed and inspected by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

What to Expect:

Dahlia tubers are sold as singles. Your dahlia tubers will be bagged by variety and packed in vermiculite. Prior to shipping, each dahlia tuber is inspected for at least one viable eye. Please note that dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes and their size does not determine the actual size of the dahlia plant.

Please be sure to contact us at within 7 days of receiving your order if you have any concerns. It is important that you inspect your order upon receiving it. Please note that due to extreme weather, growing conditions, or pest damage of your tubers are beyond on our control and we are unable to give refunds for these causes.

Placing Your Order

Dahlia tubers sell out quickly. If you add an item to your cart and it disappears, it may have sold out. If there’s a particular variety you are wanting to purchase, be sure to act fast! If a variety is not listed for sale, it means that it is not available at this time.

Please note that at this time we are not able to combine multiple orders. Once your order is placed, we can not add or subtract from it. If you want additional items, please place a new order. We will begin shipping out mid April when temperatures allow us to safely send your tubers in the mail.

At this time we are only able to ship to the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The Flowering Farmhouse is licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

All tuber orders will ship via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail.

All orders are subject to availability. In the event we are unable to fullfill your order, you will be given the option to receive a refund or replacement.

Local Dahlia Tuber Orders:

Please note that our dahlia tuber sale is ONLINE ONLY. We will be offering a “Local Pick-Up” as part of the check-out process for those who would like to pick-up their order at The Flowering Farmhouse. If you would like to pick-up your order locally, please select “Local Pick-Up” at check-out.

Please be sure to check out Local Pick-up date. If you can not make the pick-up time, please select a shipping method at check-out. We are unable to accommodate any other pick-up times as this is a very busy time of year on the farm.

Flower CSA Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Flowering Farmhouse CSA Floral share, for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following Flower CSA Terms & Conditions as the recipient.

Payment for Flower CSA

I understand that once I sign up and pay for my membership in full, I have secured my place in the Flowering Farmhouse CSA for the respective season. 

There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my Flowering Farmhouse CSA once purchased. Members may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of the season’s share, and the share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original shareholder directly. I (the purchaser) understand that I am responsible for informing The Flowering Farmhouse if such a transfer occurs.

Start Dates for Flower CSA

I understand that the start date of each Flower CSA share is flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that The Flowering Farmhouse will communicate via email to inform all members of updates and the official start date, and that it is my responsibility to contact the Flowering Farmhouse via email at if I am not receiving notifications near the projected CSA start date.

Picking Up My Flower CSA Share

I understand that my share will be delivered weekly to the pick up location. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my CSA for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to collect my share. If I am unable to pick up my share I will entitle a friend to do so. I understand that if my share is not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that share and that it will be donated at the discretion of the farmer. I will not receive credit or a refund for any shares that I do not pick up.

Pick up time parameters are set for the entirety of the season. I agree to not sign up for the CSA knowing that I cannot make it to pick up on the designated day & time.

I agree to not arrive early or late to the pick up location expecting my share to be available. I understand that the pick up location is also a place of business, and that I am not to interrupt or distract the staff in the course of their normal duties.

I understand that I am responsible for bringing a container to transport my floral share home in. All bins are to be left at the CSA pick up location.


I may coordinate the splitting of my Floral CSA share with another individual. I understand that The Flowering Farmhouse does not facilitate such arrangements, and does not coordinate special payment on split shares. I will make all arrangements myself for collecting payment from the individual with whom I am splitting my share.


If I am out of town, I understand I am responsible for sending a proxy in my place to collect my share.


I understand that as a member of the Flowering Farmhouse Floral CSA, I share in both the bounty and the risks of farming. I understand that the risks include poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests, or the total loss of all crops due to a natural disaster such as fire, flood, or drought.


I understand that email is how the Flowering Farmhouse communicates updates and changes, as well how they distribute our weekly newsletter during the season. By signing up for the CSA, I understand that I will be added to the weekly email list, and I agree to add to my email contacts.

The Flowering Farmhouse will not be held responsible for miscommunications due to our e-mails going to your Spam folder or Promotions tab. I will notify the farm immediately if I do not receive an e-mail receipt of my payment or my weekly CSA emails.
