The Flowering Farmhouse is a small, local flower farm located in Hood River, Oregon. We specialize in growing dahlias and other speciality cut flowers. Our dahlia tubers are available for sale in the winter and ship in the spring. To the best of our knowledge, our tubers are true to name and are disease free. We are licensed and inspected by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. We guarantee all tubers to have at least one visible eye upon shipping.

What to Expect:
Dahlia tubers are sold as single individual tubers. Your dahlia tubers will be bagged by variety and packed in vermiculite. Prior to shipping, each dahlia tuber is inspected for at least one viable eye. Please note that dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes and their size does not determine the actual size of the dahlia plant.
Please be sure to contact us at hello@thefloweringfarmhouse.com within 14 days of receiving your order if you have any concerns. Please be sure to include your order number and any photos. It is important that you inspect your order immediately upon receiving it. Please note that due to extreme weather, growing conditions, or pest damage of your tubers are beyond on our control and we are unable to give refunds for these causes. Please note that we can NOT be liable for any of the following: improper storage once you receive your tubers, weather, growing conditions, pests, plant performance or negligence. If your tubers fail to grow for any of these listed reasons, we are not able to offer a refund.



Placing Your Order for dahlia tubers
Growing dahlias has grown in popularity and more and more people are buying tubers through online sales. Dahlia tubers sell out quickly. If you add an item to your cart and it disappears, it may have sold out. Be sure to act fast if there’s a particular variety you are wanting to purchase! If a variety is not listed for sale, it means that it is not available at this time.
Please note that at this time we are not able to combine multiple orders. Once your order is placed, we can not add or subtract from it. If you want additional items, please place a new order. We will begin shipping out mid April when temperatures allow us to safely send your tubers in the mail.
All orders are subject to availability. In the event we are unable to fullfill your order, you will be given the option to receive a refund or replacement.
Local Orders for dahlia tubers
If you would like to make arrangements to pick-up your dahlia tubers in Hood River, Oregon at The Flowering Farmhouse, please select local pick-up for your shipping option. Additional details will be provided when it’s time for pick-up. Local orders will not be available for pick-up until sometime after April 15th due to dangers of frost. COVID procedures will be followed and masks and social distancing will be required for local pickup.
Be sure to visit the USDA to find your growing zone for planting dates and last frost date.

At this time we are only able to ship to the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The Flowering Farmhouse is licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
