  • Dahlia tuber inventory is first-come, first-serve.
  • All sales are final.
  • Each listing is for one tuber. We do not ship clumps.
  • Each tuber was grown here at The Flowering Farmhouse. These are not imported tubers.
  • We will begin shipping in April and continue through May.
  • Once your order is placed we can not make substitutions or additions. You will need to place another order. 
  • Due to the volume of orders we receive, we are unable to combine shipping on separately placed orders.
  • We are only able to ship within the U.S.(excluding Hawaii and Alaska). At this time international ordering is not available.

The Flowering Farmhouse is a small flower farm located in Hood River, Oregon. We specialize in growing dahlias and other speciality flowers. Our dahlia tubers are available for sale in the winter and will ship in the spring. To the best of our knowledge, our tubers are true to name and disease free. We guarantee all tubers to have at least one visible eye upon shipping.

At the Flowering Farmhouse we do cull and inspect for disease. We follow the American Dahlia Society’s recommendation, “If in doubt, throw it out.” We have also started a randomized testing for disease using Agdia test strips. The Flowering Farmhouse is licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

What to Expect:

The Flowering Farmhouse dahlia tubers are sold as single tubers. Your dahlia tubers will be bagged by variety and packed carefully for shipping in either vermiculite OR wood shavings. Prior to shipping, each dahlia tuber is inspected for at least one viable eye. Please note that dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes and their size does not determine the actual size of the dahlia plant.

We ship only our healthiest and highest quality dahlia tubers. Due to extreme weather, pest pressure, and growing conditions beyond our control, we cannot  guarantee the performance of your tuber/plant’s growth. Any issues with your order must be reported to hello@thefloweringfarmhouse.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Please also send your order number and photographs showing the issue. It is important that you open and inspect your order upon receipt. We are not responsible for on-going storage after you receive your order.

Please note that we can NOT be liable for any of the following: improper storage once you receive your tubers, weather, growing conditions, pests, plant performance or negligence. If your tubers fail to grow for any of these listed reasons, we are not able to offer a refund.

Placing Your Order for dahlia tubers

Dahlia tuber inventory is first-come, first-serve. All sales are final. Dahlia tubers sell out quickly. If you add an item to your cart and it disappears, it may have sold out. Be sure to act fast if there’s a particular variety you are wanting to purchase! Dahlia mania is a real thing! If a variety is not listed for sale, it means that it is not available at this time.

Please note that at this time we are not able to combine multiple orders. Once your order is placed, we can not add or subtract from it. If you want additional items, please place a new order.

All orders are subject to availability. In the event we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be given the option to receive a refund or replacement.

Shipping Our Dahlia Tubers

We will begin shipping out dahlia tubers in late March if temperatures allow us to safely send your tubers in the mail. We will begin by shipping to the southern states and will ship according to weather and location data. Most states will receive their orders in April & May. All orders will be sent out by the end of May.

At this time we are only able to ship to the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The Flowering Farmhouse is licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Customers are responsible for verifying their address at check-out. We will ship to the address provided at checkout. Please notify hello@thefloweringfarmhouse.com immediately if you find a problem with your shipping address.

All tuber orders will ship via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail.

Local Orders for dahlia tubers

Our Local Pick-Up will be on Saturday, May 11th from 10am to 3pm at The Flowering Farmhouse in Hood River, OR. If you can not make this pick-up time, please select a shipping method at check-out. We are unable to accommodate any other pick-up times.
