How Do I order flowers from The Flowering Farmhouse?
If you are interested in ordering bulk flowers from The Flowering Farmhouse, please complete our order request form. We will confirm availability and be in touch as soon as possible. We require a 50% deposit and then the balance of your order will be due at pick-up.
How many flowers will I receive in a bucket?
Your flower buckets will have 60-85 stems per bucket on average. This number varies depending upon the season and the type of flowers included in your floral bucket.
How many arrangements can I make with a bucket?
The number of arrangements you can make depends upon the size of your vases. On average, you can make about 5-7 mason jar bouquets with just one bucket. This number can greatly vary depending upon how full you wish to make your bouquets.
Can I make requests?
You may make color specific requests or let us know of any colors you do not want included in your bucket. For example, we will do our best to work within your color palette. We will do our best to accommodate your wedding palette.
Can I requests specific flowers?
While we do our best to accommodate requests, we are working with season flowers. You will be provided with flowers that are currently blooming. If there are specific premium flowers that you need, please order by the bunch separately. You can view a list of our flowers grown on the farm by clicking here.
Can I order smaller quantities?
At The Flowering Farmhouse we do have some flowers available for purchase by the stem or bunch. Please note that availability for these flowers varies throughout the growing season. Here are individual stem prices for some of our premium flowers:
- Peonies: $4-6 per stem
- Sunflowers: $1-2.50 per stem
- Dahlias: $2-5 per stem
Do I need to refrigerate the flowers?
We do recommend refrigerating your flowers; however it is not required. You can always store the flowers in a basement or cool room until you are ready to use them. Be sure to keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, food, and pets.
How long will the flowers last?
On average, locally grown flowers should last for at least a week when properly cared for.
When can I pick up my bulk flowers?
We will make arrangements with you for pick-up. Most Saturday weddings and events prefer to pick-up their flowers on Thursday morning. When transporting your flowers, be sure you have a well air-conditioned vehicle. If you do not have access to a well air-conditioned vehicle, delivery can be arranged within the Columbia River Gorge for an additional fee.
Do I bring my own buckets?
We do provide you with buckets; however you are welcome to use your own. If you use ours, you will be required to return them after your event.
Do you provide design guidance?
At this time we do not provide any design guidance. If you need full-service flowers, we recommend you reach out to one of our talented local florists.
