Flower farming can certainly be challenging at times, but it can also be so fulfilling in so many ways. These past 4+ years have been a wild journey and I’m so grateful to each and everyone of you who have chosen to follow along. This past week we had our 3rd annual dahlia tuber sale. Thank you to each and everyone of you who supported our sale. Your support allows us to buy early season supplies that help our farm run this year.
If you’ve been thinking about starting a garden or a flower farm, I hope you’ll join us in our journey as I share things that work for us on the farm and lessons we learn. Here’s to making a happy life for yourself!

Today’s the big day! Our dahlia tuber sale goes

Today’s the big day! Our dahlia tuber sale goes live on our website at 9am PST today, Wednesday, March 15th.
Here’s a few reminders for our sale:
- All varieties will show “sold out” until 9AM PST on 3/15/23
- Dahlia mania is real. Varieties will likely sell out very quickly. Inventory is first-come, first-serve.
- A few varieties have a limit of 1 tuber per purchase
- All tubers have been grown here in Hood River at The Flowering Farmhouse
- Each listing is for one dahlia tuber
- Once your order is placed we can not make substitutions or additions. You will need to place another order.
- We do inspect and cull for disease
- We are licensed and inspected by the Department of Agriculture.
- Due to the volume of orders we receive, we are unable to combine shipping on separately placed orders.
- We are only able to ship within the U.S.(excluding Hawaii and Alaska). At this time international ordering is not available.

We are excited to share that our 3rd annual dahlia tuber sale will take place TOMORROW, March 15th at 9am PST. We have been busy washing, dividing, and updating our inventory in preparation for our annual tuber sale! All varieties that will be available for sale are now available for previewing on our website.
Here’s a few reminders for tomorrow:
-All varieties will show “sold out” until 9AM PST on 3/15/23
