In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir and set aside.
Melt 4 oz. of unsweetened chocolate over stove top on low heat. Stirring frequently to prevent chocolate from burning on pan. Once melted, remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, melted unsweetened chocolate, and sugar. Beat in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add Vanilla.
Stir in dry ingredients (except for powdered sugar).
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator. Chill for at least several hours or overnight.
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Form small tbsp size balls of dough. Roll cookie balls in powdered sugar. Place approximately 2'' apart on baking sheet.
Bake in oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 min. Transfer to wire baking rack to finish cooling.
